Aiming Higher Short Breaks for Children with Special Needs aged 0 – 18 years from Sandwell
Complete Kidz CiC have been commissioned to provide a short break provision to children and young people aged 0 -18 years in Sandwell.
Each child will be entitled to 5 days free provision across the weeks of the summer holiday.
We are recruiting staff from Special Schools who will work with the children and are fully qualified to work with them.
If your child has commissioned hours for nursing care they are able to have their nurse or carer attend with them.
Children will need to fulfil the eligibility criteria to be considered for the scheme.
Please email to register your interest outlining the days you wish to book.
We have teamed up with the Albion Foundation to provide a high-quality, open access youth work service. As part of this, Youth Workers will engage with young people on their own terms. Sandwell’s Youth Matters will operate at evenings, weekends and during school holidays. The project will be delivered in association with:
West Bromwich Albion FC - The Albion FoundationKRUNCHYMCA Black Country GroupThe Premier League
And there's more - we have exciting job opportunities to share! We are looking for Engagement Officers and a Coordinator for the new service. We are recruiting creative, ambitious, positive leaders who genuinely have the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders and most importantly young people; striving to ‘Inspire to Achieve’.

Building on our Sandwell Youth Matters community programme for young people and our Make, Move and Munch Clubs for parents and
children, we are now running social activity sessions for Perky Pensioners in the Black Country!
Currently running once a month at Hilltop Lodge Care home, our Sports Coach Dawn leads the residents through a range of chair-based
exercises to strengthen arms and legs. Then there is an opportunity for some to participate in moderate aerobic activities such as
badminton. With lots of fun, singing and interaction, these gentle activities are great for boosting both mood and health.
The aim of Perky Pensioners is to develop and improve physical and mental health for those aged 60+. A sedentary lifestyle can lead to a
range of life threatening diseases and loneliness is equally as debilitating for the elderly.

We deliver some of Sandwell's “Make, Move & Munch” clubs each year. The brainchild of Tesco, Diabetes UK and the British Heart Foundation, the free MMMs are an opportunity for Mums to learn how to cook new, healthy, tasty recipes while the children enjoy games and activities. You can read more here. At our previous sessions parents & kids even learned how to grow their own fruit and veg and we had some fun, educational visits to allotments.
